Flip-up helmets

Flip-up helmets, also known as modular helmets, offer motorcyclists a unique combination of safety and comfort. These versatile helmets allow the chin section to be lifted up, making them ideal for both urban riding and long journeys. Modular helmets offer the protection of a full-face helmet combined with the freedom of an open-face helmet.

Advantages of flip-up helmets:

  • Easy communication and breathing during breaks.
  • Perfect for eyeglass wearers.
  • Often equipped with a retractable sun visor.
  • Many models are ECE approved as both open-face and full-face helmets.

Virtually all modern models are ready for intercom systems (either model-specific or universal), making them an excellent choice for those traveling in a group.

Choose a flip-up helmet from a reputable manufacturer and make sure it meets the latest safety standards, such as ECE 22.06. A properly selected modular helmet offers the optimal balance between protection, comfort and versatility, making it a truly popular choice for the modern motorcyclist.
