Frequently Asked Questions

Equipment selection, use & fit
Q: The helmet in the product picture has a dark visor, does it come with the helmet?
A: Helmets are always supplied with a clear visor unless the product literature specifically states that a second visor is included.

Q: What is the most important riding equipment for a beginner?
A: Absolutely everything, i.e. helmet, jacket, pants, gloves and shoes. Each piece of equipment protects a different part of your body. A helmet is the only piece of equipment that is compulsory under the Road Traffic Act, but we recommend protecting your whole body with good quality riding gear.

Q: I want to wash my driving equipment, how do I do it correctly while keeping the warranty?
A: We recommend that you first read the instructions provided by the manufacturer, for example on the wash sheet. We also have general instructions here!

Q: How often should you replace your driving gear?
A: This largely depends on the current condition of the driving equipment, and how much it has been used. Textile fittings rarely deteriorate if the seams and surface fabric remain in good condition, but their internal protectors can harden over time, or even start to crumble. In this case, they should be replaced immediately. The same applies to leather accessories. Helmets should be updated according to the manufacturer's recommendations, which is usually around 5 to 7 years. If you fall or drop your helmet, it is always worth replacing it, as helmets are not designed to take more than one big hit.

Q: What is the best value for money for a beginner?
A: We recommend you contact us and ask! We are happy to listen to your needs, and offer quality options that are right for you.

Q: Do you have riding gear available for plus-size bikers?
A: Yes! And lots of them, in fact. For example, the SWEEP brand often offers basic sizes up to 6XL, and even for bikers larger than that, there is D-size gear available. Welcome to try on!
