Textile motorcycle jackets are a popular choice for many motorcyclists due to their versatility, comfort and protection. These jackets offer an excellent alternative to traditional leather jackets, combining modern technology and practicality with a stylish look. Textile jackets are different in many ways when compared to, for example, leather gear. Textile jackets are lighter than leather jackets, their breathable construction and often built-in vents allow for better ventilation, allowing for more efficient air circulation while riding. Many models also include removable linings that allow the jacket to be adapted to different weather conditions. Many models also have a water-resistant coating, ensuring that you stay dry under the jacket.

Although textile jackets are lightweight, they do not compromise on safety. CE-approved protectors on the shoulders and elbows are common features, and in addition to this, chest and back armor are available separately for jackets.

Remember that there are also CE approvals for riding jackets: the requirements of the EN 17092 standard. This standard classifies jackets into different protection levels (AAA, AA, A and B), of which AAA offers the highest level of protection.
